Where does one start when you loved the book so much that you didn't want it to end but also couldn't read it fast enough? Once again my mind has been blown. Blurred Edges has everything I love in a book - an Alpha male, a strong female, love, rocking Sex, suspense, oh and did I say rocking Sex. All I am going to say is hot damn the scene in the Camaro - panty melting. I felt like I needed to take a cigarette break afterwards.I was drawn in from page one once again and finished the book with a day. Kane Caldwell has done it again and rocked my book world. Just when you think you have fallen in love with one of his characters you learn to love the others just as much. Lane and Madison were perfect. Neither of them were searching for love but circumstances that happened in there lives resulted in them crossing paths. From the first time Lane met Madison in a bar parking lot he knew she had to be his. Whether either was ready to admit it or not.
After reading Dark Edges, I didn't think I would love anyone more than Chase. But hot damn I think I am more in love with Lane after getting to know him better in Blurred Edges. The protectiveness that both have towards those that they care for is such an amazing quality and I love that about both Lane and Chase. Even though they are harda$$es at times you can tell they are doing it out of love.
I am a new fan of Kane Caldwell's and love his writing style and can't wait for more from him. Blurred Edges is a definite must read and I can't wait for Russell's story. Definitely need to know more about what's going on there.

I didn't think he could top Dark Edges...well I'm here to tell you he did! Blurred Edges takes the dominant Alpha male to a whole new level. This story offers it all, a little heartache, tragedy, a mystery that keeps you guessing, a hot as hell dominant male who sees something he likes and goes for it - of course after denying the hell out of what he feels first and a female lead that may seem a little weak at times but has what it takes to handle a man who gets what he wants and wants her from first sighting! The hotness factor with this one makes me wish I could give it more than 5 stars!! It was tastefully written with just enough details to make you go whew and reach for something to cool you off. The story line is honest and the characters are down to earth believable. If you never thought you'd want a take charge alpha male before you will after you read Blurred Edges. Highly recommend reading and Kane Caldwell has joined the ranks of my buy now, don't pass go authors!
I went in blind not knowing what to expect from the author or the book and I must say I was very happy with what I read. My first Kane Caldwell book and I truly enjoyed every minute of this erotic and romantic read.
When picking up a new author, I always look for what can an author give me to make my reading experience either enhanced or stand out that would get me talking to other readers. This is an Erotic Romance. A genre combined and in their individuality that is not new to me by any means. Having always read this genre from a female authors point of view and writing style but reading this from a male's point of view and style, I could easily make out the masculine touch.
There was a certain level of roughness, protectiveness, and edginess in the book which I loved reading.
I completely enjoyed the main characters, Lane and Maddison. Maddison, a single widowed mother of a teen boy, has self- esteem and image issues due to being married to a controlling man.
Lane had a conceited ex who would and did go to extreme lengths to keep control over their relationship but in the process destroyed it.
Lane and Maddison come with baggage and shy away from having a relationship until they cannot deny their attraction towards each other and Lane... *sigh* Lane is as alpha and protective as they come.
Overall, Blurred Edges is a feel good, romantic, erotic read with a dash of suspense thrown in to keep you at the edge. I recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a quick exciting read.

Kane Caldwell's talented writing skill grabs you from the beginning and keeps you captive until the very end. I'm in a Blurred Edges coma! No hangover, straight to coma where my mind can stay in the story of Lane & Madison. The detailed writing is excellent and brings up fond memories of past romantic situations I'm sure most of us can relate to. My favorites are the hand holding (and tugging) scenes. Lane is so protective without being controlling with Madison. Madison is your everyday woman who has image and self-esteem issues due to being married to a controlling selfish jerk. Lane also has a conceited high-maintenance ex who lied to keep control over the relationship they had. Needless to say, both have baggage and are gun shy about relationships. The book is funny, romantic, sexy, & has some suspense thrown in. This is a feel good story that you will be glad you took the time to read. Block out a morning, afternoon, or evening because once you start reading you can't stop!
